Ninth Annual Farmland Conservation Benefit Auction Held at Fasig-Tipton
Thursday, April 16, 2009

Over 350 conservationists poured into renowned auction house Fasig-Tipton for the Ninth Annual Farmland Conservation Benefit Auction.  Group CJ gave the event a fabulous flair and interior designer Matthew Carter transformed the space.  Central Catering prepared hors'doeuvres, The Big Maracas performed lively music, and spirited bidders claimed one-of-a-kind items from a Journey to La Minita Coffee Plantation and Hacienda Rio Negro in Costa Rica to the legendary King Ranch Birding Vacation.  All donations went toward conserving 10,000 acres by 2010.

Bluegrass Conservancy is especially grateful to our welcoming host Fasig-Tipton, inspiring Auction Chair Lendy Brown, the hard-working Auction Committee, and the following sponsors:  Darley, Hardscuffle, Clay Ward Agency, Dean Dorton & Ford, Farm Credit Services of Mid-America, UK Healthcare, Anonymous, Cambus-Kenneth Farm, Charles T.
