11 EASY THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO TO SAVE FARMLAND

Buy your food from the Farmer's Market. The Farmer's Market in Lexington is open April through November. Tuesdays and Thursdays the market is held at the corner of Broadway and Maxwell, on Saturdays the Market is held on the corner of Vine, and on Sundays the market is held on Southland Drive. The market begins in the morning and usually ends in the early afternoon.

Ask your grocery store, cafeteria, and favorite restaurant to buy local produce. By buying local produce, you help local farmers.
